Hufan Restaurant & Cafe was established in 1961 by Abdi Mohamed Ahmed, the family patriarch, in Galkayo, Somalia. From the start, Abdi Mohamed’s vision was to serve exceptional and authentic Somali food. His dedication and passion inspired his sons, who began their journey by washing dishes, bussing tables, and learning the art of cooking directly from him.
